Sabine Boye
MRCVS
DirectorSabine was born and grew up in Zimbabwe. She followed her parents into the veterinary profession, even studying at the same university in Germany.
Sabine came to Rowcliffe House, on work placement during her final year of studies, and was glad to be offered the chance to work here when she qualified.
Having lived half her life in Cumbria, she now calls this part of the world her home and is proud to serve the Eden Valley community.


Sarah Lester
BVetMed CertSAS MRCVS
Veterinary SurgeonSarah graduated from The Royal Veterinary College, and has worked in small animal practice in Stevenage and Leeds. She completed a surgical residency at the University of Edinburgh for four years and has a strong interest in all surgical cases.
Sarah joined us here at Rowcliffe House in 2011 and works purely on the small animal side of the practice. In her spare time Sarah loves walking the fells and looking after her Pygmy goats.


Ashley Cotton
BVSc MRCVS
Veterinary SurgeonAshley joined Rowcliffe House in 2016 after graduating from Bristol University. She has a particular interest in sheep medicine and proactive health planning.
Outside of work, a growing flock of Blue Texel and Kerry Hill sheep keep Ashley busy. She shares these with one of our other vets, Dani.
Rare time off may be spent enjoying walking the fells with her partner, little boy and deaf Border Collie, Norman.


Dani Blair
MRCVS
Veterinary SurgeonDani originates from Orkney and joined us in September 2014 after graduating from Edinburgh University. Dani splits her time between both the farm and small animal sides of the practice. Dani and her husband run a local beef and sheep farm, where they live with their son James and their many dogs.


Eleanor Stevenson
MRCVS
Veterinary SurgeonEleanor graduated from Liverpool in 2021 and loves the variety of mixed practice. Outside of work, she loves to run and walk the fells, never without her dog Reggie pulling her along. You will also frequently find her at CrossFit or swimming in Ullswater in warmer weather. Despite settling into the active Cumbrian lifestyle, Eleanor often visits her family and friends in Teesside, where she grew up.


Tamsin Cutmore
MRCVS
Veterinary SurgeonTamsin joined the practice in August 2023 after graduating from Liverpool University. Alongside her studies, Tamsin worked as an Army Reservist, so is no stranger to the adverse conditions frequently experienced whilst TB testing outdoors.
She enjoys the variety provided by mixed practice and has particular interests in data analysis and herd health.
Outside of work Tamsin enjoys playing badminton, running and walking in the countryside.


Annabel Burton
BSc BVM&S MRCVS
Veterinary SurgeonAnnabel started at Rowcliffe Vets in July 2024 after completing her degree in bio veterinary science at the Royal Veterinary College of London and her veterinary medicine and surgery degree at the Royal (dick) school of veterinary studies in Edinburgh.
She is from a farming background and spends her days off back at her sheep and beef farm in the Yorkshire Dales. As well as her sheep and cattle, she has eight dogs, three cats, two pigs, call ducks, geese and chickens at home which keep her busy. She has always enjoyed spending her summers showing sheep and stock judging around the UK gaining multiple championship titles at the National show, Royal Highland, Great Yorkshire and Three counties to name a few.
Her main areas of interest are flock and herd health, longevity of livestock and surgery.
