Our receptionists are the friendly faces who greet you when you arrive and the helpful voices at the end of the phone. They keep everything running smoothly, from booking appointments to answering queries, ensuring you and your animals receive the support you need from the moment you get in touch.

Elaine
Head ReceptionistWe welcomed Elaine into our team in January 2009. Elaine joins us from a retail background and worked for her previous employer for over 16 years.
Elaine enjoys keeping fit and attends numerous gym classes at the local leisure centre. She also enjoys fair-weather fellwalking and attending live music concerts.
Michelle
ReceptionistWe welcomed Michelle into our Reception team in 2019. She joins us following a varied and interesting career, during which she gained vast experience in various administrative and customer-facing roles, the later a medical receptionist in a local GP practice.
Michelle is originally from the North East and relocated in 2008. In her spare time, she enjoys walking on the fells with her husband and golden retriever Bella.
Ann
ReceptionistWe welcomed Ann into the Rowcliffe House team in June 2022. Ann is an experienced administrator and has had a varied career working in several administrative and reception roles, latterly as a medical reception manager.
She originates from Lancashire, moving to Cumbria in 2021. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, gardening and walking.
Shelley
ReceptionistShelley joined us in 2024 from the North East and has now relocated to Bampton to be with her partner, Paul.
Shelley previously worked for Vets4Pets in Gateshead for six years and prior to this has had careers with Newcastle City Council, Parker Hannifin and Tarmac Ltd.
She regularly returns to Newcastle to visit her son Dylan and the rest of her family and friends, all of whom she loves to spend time and make memories with.
