Farm Veterinary Surgeon
Rowcliffe Veterinary Practice is searching for the right candidate to work within a small supportive team that is committed to delivering exceptional veterinary care. We are a proudly independent, RCVS Accredited, mixed practice. The role is uniquely farm based, best suited to a veterinary surgeon with a minimum of 1–2+ years of clinical experience. All CVs will however be considered.
Full-time vets work a four-day week, with an equal share of on-call duties. Two vets are always on call for support.
The team primarily works across The Eden Valley, and the client base includes a diverse mix of dairy, beef and sheep farmers. The surrounding area is perfect for those with a passion for the outdoors from fell running to water sports or just a gentle stroll and a tasty pub lunch.
TB testing is routine and is shared equally. A newly qualified ATT will soon be taking the bulk of the load.
The Package includes RCVS and VDS membership, paid CPD tailored to your interests with a generous budget, mobile phone and a fully equipped work vehicle.
We have excellent transport links both North and South with easy access to Liverpool, Manchester and Edinburgh (by car or train).
